Yoga in Schools
I love bringing yoga and mindfulness into school communities, helping students build focus, confidence, and calm through movement and breath.
At South Boston Catholic Academy, I created a year-long preschool yoga curriculum that introduces little ones to yoga and mindfulness in playful, age-appropriate ways. I also lead a spring after-school program for older students, giving them tools to support both body and mind.
At Perry Elementary School, I partner with the physical education department to teach a four-week yoga and mindfulness unit, weaving yoga into the broader wellness curriculum.
Parents of students in my school programs receive regular communication with information about the skills and tools their children are learning, along with tips for supporting these practices at home.
